Founder & President

Kathy Freeman Godfrey has more than 30 years of experience attracting, assessing, and recruiting top financial services talent nationally. Since founding her firm in 1992, she has executed hundreds of assignments for C-Suite executives, executive leadership, and high-impact individual contributors. Kathy is recognized for her thought leadership across the industry and serves as a frequent conference speaker and panelist. She has also contributed to numerous industry publications. Kathy graduated from California State University, Chico. She lives on California's Central Coast with her husband and has two children. She is also on the Board of The Barnabas Group Central Coast.

Chelsea O'Hara
Vice President

Chelsea O'Hara joined Kathy Freeman Company as an Associate in 2013. She partners with Kathy on every search assignment and recruits for key individual contributor searches. In her multi-faceted role, she also leads talent sourcing, marketing, special projects, vendor management, and client experience. Additionally, she oversees the firm's research interns. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University, SLO with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a concentration in Marketing. Outside of the office, you can find her at spin or Pilates, going to concerts, and spending time with her Cane Corso, Ella.
